this is a tribute to (probably?) my favourite album of all time, 'Illinois' by Sufjan Stevens.

the oldest track on the album is 'chicago / bittersweet symphony', which i recorded in october 2019. i decided in around february 2021 to officially turn it into a project and attempt to cover every single track on the album, and after working on it in whatever spare moments i could find, i finally finished the final track in september 2022, almost three years after the first track was recorded.

there are a mix of tracks on here - some are phone recordings, some are heavily produced tracks; some are very faithful to the original and others less so.
